Vision Scholarship

Build a brighter future, starting with a degree from NCU!

What will your life look like five or ten years down the road? Whatever that vision may be, from financial security to achieving excellence in your professional life, it won’t happen without planning and action. That means the steps you take today directly impact the future you create.

For many, earning a degree is often the first step, providing the knowledge and skills it takes to do even greater things in life. So if you have a vision, and just need the knowledge to make it happen, our new scholarship may help.

How it works

A total of six awards will be offered, including three full tuition scholarships and three $20,000 scholarships to be applied to tuition. To be considered you must apply to NCU, start your master’s or doctoral degree program and submit an essay on or before March 25, 2019. Six winners will be announced May 3, 2019.


Essay Topic

Your essay should describe the future you want to build and tell us how earning your degree can help you create it.


Essay Guidelines

Use the form below to submit either a 500-700 word essay (maximum two pages, double-spaced), or a 2-4 minute audio or video file (minimum 2 minutes, maximum 4 minutes) in one of the following formats: .MOV, .MPEG4, .MP4, .MP3, .WAV, .AVI, .MV4, or .WMV not to exceed 25MB.

Steps to Follow
  1. Apply for any master’s or doctoral program by March 25, 2019. There is no application fee.
  2. Submit your completed essay by March 25, 2019.
  3. Start your program by March 25, 2019.
