Public Service and Defense Specialization

The Master of Science in Cybersecurity with a specialization in Public Service and Defense at Northcentral University exposes you to the latest tools, practices, and methods used to protect critical information, sensitive assets, and privacy and to comply with ethical and legal expectations. During the program, you will learn from cybersecurity experts, allowing you to specialize in high-demand areas. This program teaches you the structure and rules of cybersecurity, so that you can write and strategically implement policy. The Public Service and Defense specialization exposes you to the laws and regulations imposed on federal government and military organizations, as well as the implications of widespread use of outsource, contractors, and cloud computing. The first course introduces the breadth of cybersecurity using the CISSP CBK. The course can aid your preparation for the certificate, or current CISSP holders can receive credit for their first course, reducing the program down to 9 courses/27 credits.
