Exposure to trauma and disaster can lead to emotional and behavioral issues for victims, survivors, relief workers and bystanders. The Trauma and Disaster Relief certificate prepares you to work with individuals who have witnessed natural disasters, accidents, abuse, physical injury, bullying, etc., and who are now grappling with how to cope or to integrate memories or feelings related to that experience.
