PhD in Education, Specialized in General Education
If you envision a future in education that doesn’t fit neatly into one discipline, NCU’s online Doctor of Philosophy in Education (PhD-Ed) offers an option that may help you achieve your career goals. The general specialization allows you to combine disciplines–such as e-learning and curriculum development, or learning analytics and international education–into one online degree program.
The requirement for a PhD-Ed with a general specialization is the successful completion of 18-credit hours along with a doctoral dissertation. You must take education courses at the 7000- and 8000-level, including two elective courses from other subjects, such as psychology or business, to fulfill specialization requirements.
