Be a Leader in the Increasingly Important Field of IT Systems
Companies in the 21st century need strong IT departments to function effectively. Professionals who can manage these IT infrastructures play an important role in their organizations. NCU’s management information systems specialization will develop your professional expertise in the management of information systems, data, telecommunication systems, and Local Area Network (LAN)/Wide Area Network (WAN), and much more, from both a management and computer systems perspective. The focus is on using systems to enhance the management process and business outcomes, as well as applying contemporary research and current theories in the Management Information Systems (MIS) field. Graduates will be prepared to identify areas for intervention to address workplace problems and create preventative action plans. Through one-to-one mentorship from professors who all hold doctoral degrees, you will examine current trends in directing organizational information systems and explore efficient information management strategies designed to maximize business potential.

“When I started [at] NCU, I was on my first child and my business was around two-years-old. During the journey, I had three kids. I had my business going from a very small to a medium-sized business. The best part was the ability to work all these other things, and still be able to continue on [with my education].” - Saifur Rehman, PhD in Business Administration (2016)
