Lisa S. Hutton, J.D., is the Dean of the School of Law.  Before joining Northcentral University, Ms. Hutton was the Dean of the College of Law at John F. Kennedy University.  Dean Hutton served as a full-time Professor in the College of Law, developing and leading the Bachelor Degree in Legal Studies and Paralegal Certificate Programs, earning American Bar Association (ABA) approval for both programs.  From 2009-2018, Dean Hutton served as the JFK University Faculty Senate President, is a graduate of WASC’s Assessment Leadership Academy, and is currently a member of the Executive Board of the American Association for Legal Education (AAfPE). Dean Hutton has conducted several national presentations on assessment in legal education, faculty governance, and educational best practices and has published in the area of paralegal education and online legal programs.  Prior to working in academia, Dean Hutton practiced insurance defense litigation with Rankin, Sproat, Mires, Beaty & Reynolds in Oakland, CA.
