Angie Walker has served as Vice President of Human Resources for NCU since 2015. In this role, she develops and implements human capital strategies that support the University, including the recruitment and retention of faculty and staff, engagement strategies, leadership development, and HR systems. Ms. Walker is also responsible for the human resources function, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and staff learning and development. Prior to her executive position, Ms. Walker spent three years with NCU as an HR Business Partner and Senior HR Liaison.
Ms. Walker brought more than 10 years of HR experience to NCU. Her past roles focused on strategic HR initiatives, compensation, employee relations, talent acquisition and onboarding at mid-sized and Fortune 100 companies in the logistics, pharmaceutical, and online retail industries. Ms. Walker holds professional human resources certifications with the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and Society of Human Resources Management, (SHRM), and is also a certified compensation professional (CCP) through World at Work. She obtained her Master of Business Administration with a specialization in human resources from NCU, and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with an HR focus, from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.
