Professor, Department of Marriage and family therapy
I am happy to be a part of the faculty of Northcentral University. I have a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Amridge University, a ThM in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies track, and a MDiv in Pastoral Care, both from Southern Seminary. I am a LMFT in the state of Alabama and am a board member for the Alabama Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. I am a Clinical Fellow with AAMFT and also a Supervisor Candidate. My dissertation included research concerning spiritual transformation observed in partners of cancer survivors. I had the opportunity to practice as a MFT in the medical setting for over 3 years and have been in practice over 9 years. As a professional, I have had many opportunities to teach and present concerning various topics including spirituality, relationships, marriage, parenting, and trauma.
