Future First Scholarship

Great things don’t often happen by accident, they require vision, planning and effort. This sometimes means you have to put your future first, ahead of today’s obligations. It can be difficult, however, to shift your focus from today to tomorrow and beyond.

Since the big dreams you have for one day are built upon the work you do today, we want to encourage you to take action. We also want to help you get motivated with our Future First Scholarship.

How it works

A total of six (6) awards will be offered, including a full tuition opportunity and five $20,000 scholarships to be applied to tuition. To be considered you must apply to NCU, start your degree program and submit an essay on or before April 29, 2019. Winners will be announced June 7, 2019.

Essay Topic

Your essay should discuss the future you want to build and how education can help you make it happen.

Essay Guidelines

Use the form below to submit either a 500-700 word essay (maximum two pages, double-spaced), or a 2-4 minute audio or video file (minimum 2 minutes, maximum 4 minutes) in one of the following formats: .MOV, .MPEG4, .MP4, .MP3, .WAV, .AVI, .MV4, or .WMV not to exceed 25MB.

Steps to Follow
  1. Apply for any master’s or doctoral program by April 29, 2019. There is no application fee.
  2. Submit your completed essay by April 29, 2019.
  3. Start your program by April 29, 2019.
