The Student Right to Know (SRTK) Act, passed by Congress in 1990, requires all institutions eligible for Title IV funding to disclose graduation rates of degree- or certificate-seeking students to all students and prospective students. The population against which graduation rates are calculated includes only full-time, first-time in any college, undergraduate students who enroll at Northcentral between August 1st and October 31st and who graduate within 150% of the normal time to completion, or 6 years.
The most recent graduation rates reported to the Department of Education's Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) are based on full-time, first-time freshman entering the university in the Fall of 2007 who graduated by the Fall of 2013.
For this time frame, Northcentral University's SRTK graduation rate was considered "not applicable," since all undergraduates entering the university in the Fall of 2007 were either part-time or transfer students and, as a result, do not meet the first-time requirement of the definition and are not included in the SRTK graduation rate calculation.
