Dr. Marsha Tongel has worked professionally in the private, public and
non-profit sectors. She has a Ph.D. in Organizational
Development/Organizational Behavior; with a specialty in organizations
created and led by women. She is an Adjunct Chair, Subject Matter Expert
and faculty member for graduate students from Northcentral University in
the School of Business and teaches both undergraduate and graduate
students in the School of Business at Point Park University. She has
presented at numerous conferences and has published articles in various
professional journals and books. Her most recent presentations have
focused on how to develop and use multi-system virtual teams through the
use of collaboratories, social labs and design thinking to address social
issues and problems.
Dr. Tongel is also Principal of Metanoia Consulting-TCG, providing innovative and quality organizational, leadership and change management services, and tools to help organizations develop the creativity and resilience needed to manage transition and change and to reach their goals faster and remain sustainable. She has worked on a variety of projects as part of a virtual team with members throughout the United States and globally. Along with another colleague she developed and presented training for supervisors and managers of virtual, mobile work teams.
