At NCU, we value diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). These words often get collapsed together but we wanted to share briefly that when we talk about diversity in our context, we are talking about the diversity of identities that exist among us in terms or race and ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, economic status, education level, and other identities. We all make up our diverse work environment and we are stronger because of the diversity that exists at NCU. Equity is about ensuring that everyone has access to the same opportunities and inclusion is a concept that requires that we consider to what extent people from varying identities are valued, welcomed, respected, included and leveraged within our environment.
We believe that our DEI efforts must be systemic and sustained.
