Northcentral University is pleased to announce the two new students who were chosen as recipients of an NCU Marriage and Family Sciences Community Hope Scholarship. These students will receive full tuition scholarships for the master’s or doctoral degree program of their choice in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences’ Department of Marriage and Family Sciences!
Recipients were selected on the strength of their written essay on the topic, “Upon completion of your NCU MFS degree program, what plan(s) would you develop to make a difference in your community that creates hope?”
The NCU MFS Community Hope Scholarship recipients are:
- Lauren Shields, of Honolulu, Hawaii:
Degree Program: Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, with a specialization in military family therapy
- Claira Hart, of Las Cruces, New Mexico:
Degree Program: Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, with a specialization in general family therapy
