In honor of American heroes

Memorial Day is a time set aside to honor those that have died in service of our country. This long standing tradition was inspired by the tributes offered to fallen soldiers following the Civil War. Originally held by local communities to pay respects to their lost, an official national holiday was created in May of 1868.
