As the first MFT program with distance education to receive accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE), NCU’s MAMFT provides rigorous training to help you develop into a competent, ethical, culturally sensitive and licensable marriage and family therapist who will make a difference in the communities where you live and work.
In this post-master’s certificate, you can enhance your career-specific knowledge and skills in marriage and family therapy. You have the opportunity to choose from three specializations that focus on a specific group, including: Child and Adolescent Therapy, Couple Therapy and Therapy with Military Families.
The Department of Marriage and Family Sciences, in the School of Social & Behavioral Sciences offers a post-baccalaureate certificate for students interested in learning about individual, couple and family therapy from a systems theory perspective.
