Northcentral University has long enjoyed a special relationship with law enforcement and other public safety
professions. Its 100% online, anytime-anywhere format is ideally suited to those whose work commonly involves long
hours, chaotic schedules and frequent travel.
Recognizing this natural affinity, NCU developed focused curricula to meet the
education needs of public safety professionals and built unique relationships with important agencies, associations and companies
in the industry.
As the field has evolved into one of the highest demand career areas — and one that places a high premium on education
and touches virtually every aspect of our lives and culture — NCU strengthened its commitment to this vital
constituency, creating the Center for Law Enforcement and Security (CLES).
CLES is structured to transcend departmental boundaries by drawing on degree programs and faculty from NCU's School of Business
and Technology Management, School of Education, and School of Psychology. The Center provides information about all schools and programs
with specific focuses on degree specializations of particular interest to law enforcement and security personnel: Homeland
Security, Computer and Information Security, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, and a number of others.
Already an outstanding education resource for public safety professionals, the advent of CLES places Nothcentral University at
the very forefront of law enforcement and security education today.
