PRESCOTT VALLEY, ARIZONA, July 8, 2013 – Northcentral University (NCU), a global online, graduate-focused university, announced today that Dr. James Billings, assistant dean of the School Marriage and Family Sciences, has been elected a member of the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE).
The Commission on Accreditation is composed of nine members: seven professional members and two public members. Professional Commission members must be senior marital and family therapy educators or clinicians. The two additional members of the Commission represent the general public and cannot be a professional marital and family therapy educator, supervisor, practitioner or member of AAMFT.
