Northcentral University Strengthens Senior Management Team With Appointments to Two Newly Created Positions

Appointment of Ron Hendricks as Chief Marketing Officer and Richard Kimbell as Chief Operating Officer underscores the University’s rapid increase in enrollments and projections for long-term growth.

PRESCOTT VALLEY, ARIZONA, June 12, 2010 — With its enrollment nearly doubling over the last three years to 8,000 students, and projections calling for continued growth over the next five years, Northcentral University, a global leader in 100% online higher education, today announced the creation of two new senior management positions, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Operating Officer, and the appointment of Ron Hendricks and Richard Kimbell to serve in the respective positions.

According to Northcentral University President Dr. Clinton Gardner, the creation of the two new positions comes at a time when the University is growing and expanding in virtually every area of its operations: enrollments, faculty size, schools, and number of degree programs offered. "Over the last three years this University has doubled its enrollment, awarded close to 200 PhD degrees in Business and Technology Management, opened a new School of Health & Behavioral Sciences, and launched a Doctor in Business Administration degree program to meet the growing market demand for post MBA level education. The appointment today of Ron Hendricks as Chief Marketing Officer and Richard Kimbell as Chief Operating Officer will help us to meet our current growth objectives while planning for the continued future expansion of this unique institution of higher learning.”

As Chief Marketing Officer, Ron Hendricks now assumes complete responsibility for the development and implementation of the University’s marketing and business development programs, including enrollment, retention, culture, as well as all internal and external communications programs. He comes to the University from Factone Marketing Development, a Kaysville, Utah based company that specializes in creating marketing strategies for schools, colleges, and universities, where he served as President since 2001. Before this, he was the Chief Innovation Officer of Datamark, based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Datamark is the education industry’s leading authority on media integration strategies, lead acquisition management, prospect conversion and student retention.

Previous to this, Hendricks invested 15 years in the advertising industry and held senior management positions at both Euro RSCG DSW Partners and Bowg Advertising in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ron Hendricks is a graduate of Utah State University, where he was awarded BFA in Fine Arts degree.

As Chief Operating Officer, Richard Kimbell is responsible for overseeing every operational area of the University. Before coming to Northcentral, Kimbell served as President of Heald Online, a division of Heald College in San Francisco, California. Prior to this he held the position of Vice President & General Manager of the CCi Online Division of Corinthian Colleges, one of the largest for-profit education companies in the world with 110 colleges throughout the United States and Canada. Kimbell held a senior management positions at a number of Corinthian owned colleges from 2003 until 2009. Richard Kimbell holds a Master of Arts degree from Wheaton College, in Wheaton, Illinois and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Belhaven College, in Jackson, Mississippi.
