National Conference Brings Faculty and Students to Forefront of Evolving Technology in Marriage and Family Therapy PRESCOTT VALLEY, ARIZONA, September 20, 2011 – Northcentral University, a global leader in online highereducation, announced today its plans to participate in the 2011 American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) Annual Conference. The conference, held September 22–25 in Fort Worth, Texas, assembles thought leaders, students, educators and researchers in the family therapy field to contribute and learn from more than 100 breakout sessions focused on the theme “The Science of Relationships.”
Several members of the Northcentral University faculty will represent the organization through involvement in panels, classes and workshops. Many others from the Northcentral University community will attend in an observational role, gleaning insights and forming conclusions to supplement their academic experience. Northcentral University will also be an official sponsor of the conference’s Grand Opening Reception.
“The AAMFT conference is a valuable opportunity for our team of faculty and students,” said Dr. Branden Henline, Northcentral University Marriage and Family Therapy Chair and Program Director. “This national gathering provides valuable perspective on the current landscape of the marriage and family therapy field while offering a unique chance to discuss relevant issues with peers and colleagues from around the nation.”

Faculty, students,administration and Northcentral University supporters are invited to gather together at the Northcentral University conference reception, held September 23 from 6–7 p.m. in the Spicewood Ballroom at the Sheraton Forth Worth Hotel and Spa.
