If you have earned an associates degree from another college, you
may qualify for NCU’s 3+1 Bachelor’s Degree Completion Program.
The bachelor's degree completion program enables students at community
and other colleges to stay at their home campus for an additional year of
study and then complete 30 semester hours through 100% online
education to earn a Northcentral University bachelor’s degree.
NCU welcomes transfer students and returning students. Our enrollment advisors and registrars
work to help you get full credit for education earned at other schools.
It's just this easy:
- The Northcentral University bachelor’s degree requires a total of 120 semester credits.
- This must include a minimum of 39 semester credits in general education courses
- This requirement may be satisfied by the transfer of general education courses
completed at approved post secondary colleges and schools. ‡
- Transfer students may save money by taking additional courses at the originating
institution and transferring up to 90 credits.
- A minimum of 30 credits of instruction must be completed through NCU.
The 3+1 Bachelor's Degree Completion Program allows you to complete
more coursework through your local college and may save you money. Talk with an
NCU
Enrollment Advisor for guidance on proper courses to round out your
transcript.
‡ Note: The bachelor's of education degree (BEd) is different. Credits toward the BEd are transferrable
only through Rio Salado College,
the online campus of Maricopa Community Colleges, Maricopa County, Arizona.
