Northcentral University has over 370 active Faculty Mentors. Our faculty are academically qualified, professionally
engaged in their careers, and trained to support online learning by guiding and stimulating the learning process
in one-on-one interaction.
A majority of NCU Faculty Mentors have careers in business, education, mental health, or government and teach for NCU on
a part time “adjunct” basis. Space limitations prevent us from listing all their names here or presenting their photos
and biographies. Among the full time faculty of NCU’s School of Business, are the following individuals.
Greg Bradley, Ph.D.
Dr. Greg Bradley is a Research Methodologist in the School of Business and Technology Management at Northcentral University
and founder of Decision Scientific LLC, an applied market research firm. His field of expertise is the application of
quantitative analysis in solving complex business problems.
Bradley's personal research interests include the practical utilization of both customer and employee satisfaction research,
the application of structural equation modeling to identify product-specific correlates of customer loyalty, the utilization
of conjoint analysis and discrete choice modeling to assess the behavior of customer choice, and the utilization of
multidimensional scaling to assist with product and service positioning strategies.
He remains an invited guest at investment, development, and marketing conferences around the country and has authored a variety
of technical documents related to improving the decision making process through quantitative analysis. He is currently working
on a national empirical analysis of the differences in service quality attitudes by casino patrons differentiated by perceived
and real value of complimentaries received while gambling.
Bradley holds a doctorate in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management. He has an MBA and a baccalaureate
degree in Business Administration with a dual emphasis in Marketing and Human Resource Management from the University of Southern
Mississippi.
Candace K. Karsjens, M.A.
Candace "Candi" Karsjens is an NCU mentor for the Strategic Knowledge Studies program and was recently promoted to an Associate Director for the SKS5002 program focusing on Accounting,Economics and Finance. Candi received her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Buena Vista University, and received her MBA from Capella University. She has spent the past 11 years in accounting, sales and marketing, the past eight years with GlaxoSmithKline.
Candi and her husband own their own manufacturing business where she served as the CFO. Candi and her husband Mike enjoy spending time outdoors golfing, gardening, tending to their eighteen acre homestead and raising their children who range in age from 11 years old to 22 years old.
Al C. Endres, Ph.D.
Dr. Endres earned his Master’s and PhD degrees in Industrial Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago.
His government and industrial experience was gained in positions as Mathematical Statistician within the U.S. Army, Associate
Research Engineer at IIT Research Institute, Senior Operations Research Analyst at Motorola, Division Manager of New Product
Assurance for Clark Equipment, Member of the Technical Staff at Bell Telephone Laboratories, and Vice President for Juran Institute.
His experience with NCU has included mentoring for statistics, TQM, operations management, dissertations, and Chair, School of
Business and Technology Management.
Endres currently serves as a Research Professor and Lead for the School’s Academic Review Team. He resides in the Tampa Bay,
Florida area with his wife Diane, daughter Alyson, and westie, Bonnie.
Mike Ewald, Ph.D.
Mike Ewald works as the Director for Strategic Knowledge Studies at Northcentral University. He has been with NCU as a
Mentor since the very early days of the University.
During his career Ewald has worked as an associate dean to provide large corporations with on-site bachelors and masters degree
programs. He later developed four extension centers to provide K-12 education and business degrees to rural learners. He moved
into the business community working for a Fortune 60 company as Manager to design product and service marketing plans for a half
billion dollar market. This was followed by many years in lighting management and design. He holds a US Patent in modular wiring
design.
Dr. Ewald has recently completed service to the Mississippi International Board of Trade and the District Economic Advisory Council
to the US Department of Commerce.
Fred Walker, M.S.
Fred Walker is Associate Director, Graduate Knowledge Studies in Quantitative/Information Systems.
Walker is a retired engineer from a Fortune 50 company. His background includes managing advanced electronic systems
with two Fortune 100 companies and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Fred has taught Statistics, Math, Project Management, Group Dynamics,
and Information Systems with other universities online and in traditional classroom environments. Fred does volunteer work with several
community non-profit agencies including the American Red Cross, Children’s Advocacy Center, and United Way.
