Dr. Freda Turner, Interim Chair of NCU’s School of Business and Technology Management, will chair the Advisory Board.

Dr. Claudia Santin, President of Northcentral University stated she is very pleased with the panel’s composition. “The School of Business and Technology Management is fortunate to have such an esteemed board to advise the school on community and industry needs and to serve as our advocates to our constituents.”

The primary function of the Advisory Board will be to offer input and guidance to the administrative leaders of the School of Business and Technology Management on educational needs within the community and industry changes that might necessitate changes in academic programs. Board members will also act as advocates for the School and will promote public awareness within the community of NCU’s educational degree offerings.

Already this effort by NCU’s School of Business to incorporate ideas from industry is bearing fruit. Among suggestions tendered at this first meeting were several additions to the school’s academic offerings, as either new degree specializations or additions to Certificates of Advanced Graduate Studies. The panel will be a vital agent in the school’s continued development, which will in turn benefit the 2,300 business students currently enrolled.
